After reading The Room Mate I couldn’t wait to dive into the next book in this series!! I really enjoyed it!! I believe that this one is my new favorite!! This story drove me nuts in the best way possible!! At times I wanted to pull my hair out and yell at my kindle. I loved the back and forth between the two main characters. I was seriously on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next for these two. I was so glad that it was told in Dual POVs!! 🙂
Ms.Ryan sure knows how to mess with my emotions and leave me wanting more!! I really liked how things took time to progress because with each chapter I fell more and more for Smith and Evie. I am a big fan of “Girl falling for her brother’s best friend” kind of books but this one totally surprised me with it’s uniqueness! A total breath of fresh air kind of read indeed. I absolutely hated when it ended. I can’t wait for the next one!! I’m looking forward to reading what she comes up with next!! 🙂
The Play Mate is about Evie Reed and Smith Hamilton. She’s the little sister of his best friend Cullen. They’re just friends but she wants something more. Evie isn’t afraid to take a risk and cross a few lines. Smith values his life and friendship with her brother too much to lose it all. When temptation literally is in bed with him can Smith say no and forget it all? Or will Evie prove to be his biggest obstacle yet? Can Evie show him that they are worth the chance? Or were they doomed from the beginning?
I just couldn’t get enough of these two characters. I was rooting them on and I wasn’t sure if they’d act on what they were feeling or not. It was so nice to see glimpses of their pasts featured throughout because I love seeing early stages of friendships.
