Review Tour – Hero Hair By Rachel Robinson

Everyone knows there is no “I” in team, but to Macs Newstead–orgasm-gifting, muscle-filled Navy SEAL hero–there are more important words than team. Words like victory and vanity and selfishness. People say those words like they are a bad thing, but to Macs, they’re simply tools in his highly effective arsenal. When a man’s entire existence revolves around the necessity to end lives, silly, mundane things like second dates or monogamy seem worthy sacrifices.

Downward facing dog or doggy-style–it’s all the same to Teala Smart, a whip-smart yoga instructor. She owns her studio like she owns her life–with focus, positive energy, and pure devotion. That devotion, however, does not trickle into her love life (or more accurately, her lust life.) Relationships are a roadblock to her success. They get in the way and tangle up emotions more than the lotus pose tangles up limbs. Men are best kept just for a night and then released into the wild before feelings get too messy.

HERO HAIR, the second novel of International Bestselling Author Rachel Robinson’s THE REAL SEAL SERIES, is the account of an life-altering journey detailing the awakening of two hollow hearts, both set on taking their own pleasures without any emotional attachment. The ruthless SEAL finally meets an enemy he can’t defeat, and both Macs and Teala find, against their wishes, and despite atrocious circumstances, a chemistry so explosive it leaves nothing but deconstructing love in its wake.

My Review –

4 There Goes My Hero Stars!!

*I volunteered to review a Copy of this book from Sassy Savvy Fabulous PR*

Thank you so very much Sassy Savvy Fabulous PR!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! 🙂

This was my first time reading Ms.Robinson’s work. I enjoyed it!! From the cutest prologue ever created to the very end I couldn’t get enough of this story or it’s characters. I’m so glad that it was told in Dual POVs. Even through the main characters drove me crazy at times and I maybe wanted to shake some sense into them I adored them. Throughout reading I found myself able to connect with both of them. I liked the fact that it touched on serious subjects that I’m not used to seeing in books.

Ms.Robinson doesn’t sugarcoat anything. What you see is what you get which made me so stinking happy because of the added realness to it!! Teala and Macs’ story was packed with an emotional punch that I did not expect but loved. I was terrified for a lot of this story as I was unsure of how it would end for them. Best sort of torture right there. The things the main characters endured ripped me apart. I’m so looking forward to checking out more of Ms.Robinson’s work!! 🙂

Here’s a quote that tore me apart but I couldn’t get out of my mind

– “I want her happiness even if it means my destruction.”

If you haven’t already One-Clicked, What are you waiting for?!?! Be prepared for your emotions to take over while reading whether it be sadness to the point of tears or joy that you feel deep within your bones. Experience it all. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did my fellow book lovers!! 4 Stars all around!! 🙂
