This was my first time reading Ms.Pacheco’s work. I really liked it!! It absolutely broke my heart in every way possible. It brought out a lot of emotions within me as well from sadness to joy. I loved the fact that it was told in Dual POVs so I could know what exactly was going on in both of the main characters minds. There were certain characters that I wanted nothing more than to punch. Seriously, some of them made me so incredibly angry.

Ms.Pacheco created a realistic novel that was a journey in many ways. She showed how others can cause you pain but how you can come out stronger in the end because of it. Luna and Phoenix’s story wasn’t an easy one by any means. I hoped that Phoenix would knock her walls down and make her realize the beauty of her soul. I look forward to reading more of Ms.Pacheco’s work!! 🙂

There were many beautiful quotes but this one stuck with me and I found it to be so very powerful –

“In my world full of silence, I hear so much.”
