The Cad and The Co-Ed, a quirky and sexy romantic comedy from Penny Reid & L.H. Cosway is available now!!
Bryan Leech is a cad.
Or, he *was* a cad.
No one is quite certain.
Once the quintessential playboy, Bryan claims he’s done with wild parties and weekend benders. No more one night stands leading to mornings he can’t remember; no more binges and blackouts; no more exploits plastered all over the tabloids and rag sheets. According to Bryan, he’s cleaning up his act.
The only problem is, no one believes him.
Eilish Cassidy never thought she’d be a mother at nineteen or still in college at twenty-four. Cut off from every member of her family except her favorite cousin, she’s finally managed to put her life back together. Stronger and wiser, Eilish enters her last semester of university determined to stand on her own. Now she just needs to find an internship.
The only problem is, her best option—by far—places her directly in the path of her son’s father, and he doesn’t remember her at all.
Bryan is determined to prove he’s changed. Eager to settle down with the right woman, he’s got his sights set on the gorgeous redhead who seems terribly familiar.
Eilish is determined to hide her secret. She’ll do anything to keep her child safe, even if that means ignoring her own wishes and desires.
But what happens when Bryan starts to remember? And what will it take for Bryan to convince the girl he forgot that she’s unforgettable?
My Review –
4 Open Up To Me Stars!!
*I volunteered to review a Copy of this book from Social Butterfly PR*
Thank you so very much Social Butterfly PR!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! 🙂
Having read Ms.Reid’s work before I was so excited to dive into her collaboration with new to me author Ms.Cosway!! I am so glad that I finally got the chance to pick up a book from this series! I really enjoyed this tale!! It was frustrating, funny, sweet, heartbreaking, and very entertaining!! Yes, I got all teary eyed during some parts – judge me, haha. After that first chapter I didn’t have a clue where things would lead. It was fun to be kept on the edge of my seat. Eilish and Bryan’s story was unconventional which is what I believe really hooked me.
I loved how it was told in Dual POVs because when certain things came to light I HAD to know exactly what was going on in the main characters minds. During the beginning I didn’t really like Bryan and at times Eilish drove me crazy but as I kept reading I really fell for both of them.
As many of you know i love it when authors join forces to create one story and i am so glad that these two ladies decided to do so! They mesh so well together! Ms.Reid and Ms.Cosway showed how secrets can eat you alive and how love is unconditional. They created such a fantastic story! I am looking forward to picking up the rest of the Rugby Series, check out more of both author’s works, and read whatever they come up with next!! 🙂
Hurdles, Pain, Love, Heartache, Rugby, Secrets, and Family all collide in this novel!!
If you haven’t already One-Clicked, What are you waiting for?!?! Buy it Today!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did my fellow book lovers!! 4 Stars all around!! 🙂
