Review Tour – Riveted : A Saints Of Denver Novel By Jay Crownover

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men books comes the next installment in the Saints of Denver series.

Riveted - cover

Everyone else in Dixie Carmichael’s life has made falling in love look easy, and now she is ready for her own chance at some of that happily ever after. Which means she’s done pining for the moody, silent former soldier who works with her at the bar that’s become her home away from home. Nope. No more chasing the hot as heck thundercloud of a man and no more waiting for Mr. Right to find her; she’s going hunting for him…even if she knows her heart is stuck on its stupid infatuation with Dash Churchill.

Denver has always been just a pit stop for Church on his way back to rural Mississippi. It was supposed to be simple, uneventful, but nothing could have prepared him for the bubbly, bouncy redhead with doe eyes and endless curves. Now he knows it’s time to get out of Denver, fast. For a man used to living in the shadows, the idea of spending his days in the sun is nothing short of terrifying.

When Dixie and Church find themselves caught up in a homecoming overshadowed with lies and danger, Dixie realizes that while falling in love is easy, loving takes a whole lot more work…especially when Mr. Right thinks he’s all wrong for you.

My Review –

4.5 Give Me Your Love and Your Fears Stars!!

*I volunteered to review a Copy of this book from InkSlinger PR*

Thank you so very much InkSlinger PR!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! 🙂

Having read Ms.Crownover’s work before I could not wait to pick this one up!! I absolutely loved it! This story had a little bit of everything going on. It was full of suspense, love, family, sweetness, and sexy as hell moments!! I had to devour this bad boy in one sitting even though I hated that it had to end. I liked the fact that it was told in Dual POVs! It was so much fun being in both the hero and the heroine’s minds. I really enjoyed the adventure and finding yourself aspects of it.

Ms.Crownover never fails to steal my heart with her stories!! She always creates such realistic characters and situations that are relatable. Whether it be a character going through hell in their life or showing what it means to love Ms.Crownover captures human nature perfectly. The dedication had me in tears, it truly touched my heart. I am looking forward to picking up the rest of the Saints of Denver Novels especially Wheeler and Poppy’s story Salvaged!! I am so stinking happy that they are getting their very own book especially after everything that happened in this installment. All I can say is – I need more! So much more! 😉

Riveted is about Dixie and Church. Dixie Carmichael is the sweetheart who cares about everyone and is looking for that great love. Dash Churchill AKA Church is closed off from love and people period. These two are opposites yet so similar. When Church asks Dixie for a favor she never expects for her world to be turned upside down let alone have her heart be In danger. Will Dixie be able to tear down Church’s walls? Or will she be crushed by love? Will Church be prepared to face his past in order to live happily in his present? Or will fear take over?

Can I be Church’s Pretty Girl? Ms.Crownover can you make that happen pretty please? 😉 Church’s story broke my heart at times and I wanted nothing more than to hug him. I was on the edge of my seat a lot of the time when I was reading his POV. I had to urge to reach into my kindle and shake some sense into him at times. I absolutely adored Dixie!! Her incredible heart won me over from the start. I hope to live my life spreading kindness like she did. I didn’t know how their story would end which made the reading experience that much more thrilling! 🙂

If you haven’t already One-Clicked, What are you waiting for?!?! Buy It Today!! I can’t get these two out of my head and I don’t think that I will ever want to. Trust me my fellow book lovers, Y’all need Church. 😉 Grab your Harley’s my friends it’s going to be a long and amazing ride!! I hope you love and enjoy it as much as i did!! 4.5 Stars all around!! 🙂
