Cover Design: MadHat Books

Release Date: August 24, 2016

Synopsis

When I opened my eyes, I was in a cell, my body covered in bruises.

Not a jail.

I’d been kidnapped and imprisoned.

I wasn’t alone. I shared the cell with Garin Woods, the man I’d loved since I was a kid.

The man I couldn’t be with because of the secret. A man who would kill me if he found out what that secret was.

Someone wanted to torture me.

Torture us.

One of us deserved it.

It wasn’t Garin.

My Review –

Thank you so very much Sassy Savvy Fabulous PR for sending me a copy of Prisoned!! I am honored and grateful!! 😀

4.5 Still shocked Stars!!

This was my first time reading Ms.Mann’s work and I am still in shock days after finishing!! I’d have to say I’m still speechless and blushing due to the story not leaving my head. I thought I had everything figured out but just as I came to that conclusion the rug was pulled right from under my feet. It’s dark, gritty, sinfully sexy, heartbreaking, and oh so very surprising. I second guessed myself with every turn of the page. My emotions were all over the place by the end that I had no clue what to do with myself , total book hangover. Prisoned messed with my mind and left me with my jaw practically hanging on the floor. There are so many different twists and turns I never saw coming. Ms.Mann created one of the best thrillers I’ve read in a long time!! I can’t wait to read more of her work!! 🙂

Secrets and Lies have never been more powerful. . .

Kyle Lang was a character who knew the true meaning of the word guilt. She lived and breathed it for years. One horrific night changed her world forever. Cutting ties with those she cared about wasn’t easy in the least bit nor was the fear that lingered at the forefront of her mind daily. Returning back home to where her nightmares were created flipped her world upside once again but this time with no hope of recovering nor making it out alive. I loved her passion for creating Art and that she had dreams she wanted to achieve. What she endured broke my heart and I hated what she went through. I also hated that Guilt was a black cloud over her life. I understood her reasons behind the things she hid. I hoped that in the end she’d speak the truth and find safety within it.

Garin Woods was a character that discovered how cruel the world could be at an early age. Doing things for others had always been his job. He cared deeply for his best friend Kyle that he grew up with. Their upbringing had been rough and hunger became the norm for both of them. Just as everything was falling into place it all fell apart once more when tragedy struck and relationships / friendships were ruined. Years later with questions still left about that fateful night he went back to where it all began just to run Into the only woman who’d been his world. He was a man on a mission and seeking answers was his game no matter the cost. I liked how he could be dangerous yet sweet at the same time. To say he was sexy would be putting it lightly. I hoped in the end he would find everything out and surprise me with his actions.

Will the Kyle confront the past and rid herself of the guilt before it’s too late? Will Garin find the answers and be able to handle every part of the truth?

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a read that will sweetly torture your mind, keep you guessing, and have you trying to find a way too cool down the cheeks on your face due to the hotness that’s inside. It’s told in both of the main characters point of views which makes me so stinking happy. Be prepared to be terrified of the unknown and realize that nothing is as it seems. This book pretty much scared me to the point I don’t think I’ll ever be untruthful again even in slightest. Also, I now have a craving for powdered doughnuts. If you haven’t already One-Clicked Buy it Today!! You won’t regret reading this steamy and intense read!! Let the mind games begin! 4.5 Stars all around!! 🙂
