4 Don’t give up on happiness Stars!!!
This was my first time reading Ms.Michelle’s work and i couldn’t help but be hooked into the story from the very beginning. This story had a whole lot more depth to it than i thought it would before i started reading it which was a great surprise! At times it was difficult to read due to the parts containing cruelty from a certain character that i strongly disliked. It’s a story filled with football, doubts, hot kisses, secrets coming to light, brothers, and moments of realizing how to love another person. This story isn’t always pretty and how the realistic aspect of it will make it easier for other readers such as myself to relate to. Ms.Michelle really knows how to make a reader go from grinning broadly in one second and in the next breaking their heart. I’m so looking forward to reading Tyler’s story next!! 🙂
Tyson Caine was a character who loved to play football and take care of his family. In my opinion he had way too many responsibilities resting on his shoulders that didn’t belong there whatsoever. He was really nice and hot as fire when he wanted to be. He always looked out for his family even if that meant protecting them from someone who was within their own home. His relationship with his brothers was humorous and at times tense but they stuck it out together as a team. I loved that he was actually friends with the heroine and valued her as an important person in his life.
Brooklyn Waters was a character who lived and breathed to dance. She had guts about her but at certain times she could be rather shy. She did things a lot of times just out of the goodness of her heart. I was really impressed with her when she put herself out there to either be accepted or rejected by a guy. I think the old saying is “Confidence is key” that matches her perfectly. I liked that she had her very own point of view and i could actually see what was running rampant through her mind.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a read that doesn’t just contain sweetness it contains this harsh as well as heartbreaking reality of being hurt by one of the people who brought you into this world. I sure do hope that the other two Cain brothers get their very own books so i can devour them. If you haven’t already picked this one up , Go right now and experience this story just for yourself. 4 Stars all around!! 🙂
