June Mayson and Evan Barrister’s whirlwind courtship resulted in a secret marriage right before he left for boot camp. Evan knows deep in his gut that June is too good for him, but after getting a taste of the beautiful life they can have together, he’s unwilling to let her go. June promises to wait for him, knowing neither time or distance will ever change her feelings for Evan—that is until she’s served with divorce papers while he’s overseas and she’s forced to let him go.

Her marriage and divorce a well-kept secret, the last person June expects to run into when she moves back to her hometown is Evan. Angry over the past, she does everything within her power to ignore the pull she feels whenever he is near. But how can she ignore the pain she sees every time their eyes meet? How can she fight the need to soothe him even if she knows she’s liable to get hurt once again?

Is it possible for June and Evan to find their way back to each other again? Or will they be stopped by an outside force before they ever have a shot?

My Review :

Thank you so very much TRSOR Promotions for sending me a copy of Until June!! I am so very honored and grateful!! 🙂

5 Fight for who you Love Stars!!

It hurts to even say this out loud since i know I’m the very last one to the party but this was my very first time reading a book by Ms.Reynolds. Yes, i know i may get some heat for that but better late than never right? Honestly, i was super duper excited to pick this one up due to having heard many fantastic things about the Author’s work! I wasn’t let down whatsoever! It was all things sexy, sad, heartbreaking, suspenseful, and last but not least hopeful. Things weren’t always easy for the two main characters to put it lightly.

I loved that everything wasn’t happy during the beginning and there was a build up to the good times. In my opinion things in life take time and this story proved just that. Everyday isn’t always bright and in one of those rare cases you can have someone to brace the darkness of some days with you. Ms.Reynolds not only won me over with so many characters but she won me over in genuineness within her story and for that i am thankful. I plan to devour her other books as soon as possible because i can’t not know how some of these characters came to be together. 🙂

June Mayson was a character who was trying to move on from having her heart broken wait-no not broken but absolutely crushed by the man she loved most in the entire world. Some days were better than others and i felt so sorry for her at times. She had a backbone to her and wore her facade well masking the hurt that she felt daily. In my opinion she had a rather big heart and i was envious of the way she could be so kind to others who had burned her in the past. I loved her relationship with her entire family and their closeness made me smile like no tomorrow. Her friendship with JJ was so great and whenever they spoke it always became somewhat humorous.

Evan Barrister was a character who had a rough childhood. He became a Marine and i think that led him to reanalyzing his life to the point of second guessing things even though some of the things he believed weren’t true. Yes, his actions at times did make me want to punch him for what he put the heroine through but as i got to read his point of view and know more of his past i started to like him a bit then it all when snow-balling from there. He was fierce when it came to protecting the ones he loved from people trying to do them harm. Evan was flat out sexy and he cracked me up more times than not. I’m glad that i didn’t give up on him as a character.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a read that’s about fighting to get the one you love back and the everyday struggles one faces after being hurt so gravely. I never expected to fall in love with the characters as much as i did but i was happy that it happened. I need to goo back and read the first book in the Until Her series as soon as possible! If you haven’t already One-Clicked this book you are seriously missing out!! Buy it today! I sure hope you enjoy it as much as i did! 5 Stars all around!! 🙂

Excerpt 1

Seeing Evan again is taking a toll on me, I can’t sleep and my mind is in a constant state of turmoil. I wake up in the middle of the night from dreams of us. The memories of him, of us are too much. Some memories have the ability to heal. The ability to light up the dark because the beauty of the memory is so bright you’re still able to bask in it.

But the memories of us are killing me slowly. They remind me that for one moment I had everything while reminding me it’s gone. It’s the realization that we’re done that’s killing me. The realization that I can see him but can’t touch him that he exist but he’s not mine is agonizing.

Excerpt 2

He’s beautiful his body is a work of art I want to touch him, I want to know what It feels like to have his bearded face against my delicate skin, I want to know if the rough edges I now see are smooth to the touch.

“June.” My name in his course tone gets my attention but when our eyes meet its not anger he’s looking at me with, its raw, powerful, hungry possessiveness.
