The moment I laid eyes on the new photographer at work, I had his number. Cocky, arrogant and super wealthy—women were eating out of his hand as soon as his tight ass crossed the threshold of our office. When we were forced to go to Paris together for an assignment, I wasn’t interested in his seductive smile, his sexy accent or his dirty laugh. I wasn’t falling for his charms.
Until I did.
Until he was kissing me and I was wondering how it happened. Until he was dragging his lips across my skin and I was hoping for more. Paris does funny things to a girl and he might have gotten me naked.
But Paris couldn’t last forever.

My Review :
4.5 Differences can lead to kisses Stars!
Thank you so much Give Me Books Promotions for sending me s copy of Parisian Nights!!! I’m honored and grateful!! 🙂
This was my first trime reading Ms.Bay’s work and I was not dissapointed!! It was frustrating to the point of hair pulling and beautiful to the point of non stop smiling. I love stories where characters don’t instantly click and everything takes times. In Parisian Nights personalities clash and limits are tested. I really enjoyed the pace of the story and what direction things went in. Ms.Bay creates a world about two characters who couldn’t be any more different from each other but how they deal with those differences is what could make or break them in general.
At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the whole love/hate relationship between the main characters but boy was I wrong and im so glad that i was! Having different opinions on certian things doesn’t mean that realtionships can’t work it’s about the effort that both people put into it that really matters. Ms.Bay’s writing impressed me greatly and after having finished this book I’m ready to pick up the rest in The Night Series!!
Haven was a character who was very passionate about her job almost to a fault. If it weren’t for her having her very own point of view I honestly don’t think I would have liked her as much. She sort of rubbed me the wrong at the beginning but I liked as the story went on she became more of an appealing and likable character in my opinion. She stuck to the rules and always had a schedule. At times she could be rather sweet and in others she could be a witch but she’d own it even if it took her some time to admit it. Her job as a journalist made her the type of person to ask burning questions to others to get to the truth of who people really are such as celebrities. I loved her relationship with her brother Luke and best friend Ash!! Haven surprised me quite a bit and I kept crossing my fingers that she’d give Jake a chance.
Jake ‘Harry’ Harrison was a character who loved photography and taking pictures had become a peaceful breather from his everyday life. He was arrogant and sweet all at the same time. As the same with the heroine I couldn’t really begin to like him until a little ways into the story but that proved to me that his character had grown. I liked how he saw the world in more detail through a lens. He showed so much tenacity by going out on a limb and asking Haven questions instead of her being the one to ask them. He was modest when it came to his photographs and that made me respect him more than before. I was shocked by some of the things he did and he may could have used a smack in the face every now and then. His humor was sweet in a way I haven’t really seen before and I liked that about him immensely. His relationship with his sister Beth warmed my heart!
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a read that isn’t the usual Love/Hate relationship and how two people can change in ways they never thought they could. Its about two characters trying to build each other up even when the other wants to fall down. It was sexy, lovely, profusely frustrating, and exactly what I was looking for! If this sounds like its right up your alley Go and One-Click it Today! You won’t regret it! As I said before Differences can lead to kisses and this story proves that. 4.5 Stars all around!! 🙂
USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful and Hopeful and the novella series’ The Empire State Series, What the Lightning Sees and Calling Me. The novels and together the series are stand-alone although there are some overlapping characters.
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There’s not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.
Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn’t have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
