Blake Caster has been in an emotionally abusive relationship with Justin for so long, she can’t tell what is normal anymore, and so she clings to the one thing that is solidly hers—her passion for extreme weather. Three years into her Meteorology degree, Blake meets professional storm chaser, Dash Lexington, who is as gorgeous as he is daring. Instantly recognizing her passion and skills in analyzing weather data, he makes a spot for her on his tight-knit storm chasing team. Dash and Blake form a fast friendship and it forces her to realize just how toxic her relationship with Justin is. She can’t deny the lightning-worthy chemistry she has with Dash or how her heart stalls every time he gets too close to a tornado. With each chase and the cherished moments with Dash, Blake discovers her own self-worth and gains the strength to end things with Justin for good. But he won’t go easily. As Blake tries to sever ties with one man, she fears she’ll lose the other to his dangerous obsession—and she doesn’t know if she’ll be enough to save him from the impending storm that could end them all.

  My Review :

Thank you so much Sassy Savvy Fabulous PR for sending me an ARC of this book! I’m very grateful!❤

5 Storm chasing has never been more sweet Stars!

Holy cow did this book make me an emotional mess. I loved that it dealt with weather how nature can be so beautiful even during a storm. When characters chase after their dreams and are determined to achieve them leaves me feeling so happy as well as inspired. This story goes to show you no matter how many bad hands you are dealt in this life and terrible situations you go through you deserve to find happiness and are strong enough to move forward.

I loved learning more about weather and the steps to predict it. This is a romance that can stand on it’s own and it’s very different from anything that I’ve read before. Ms. Lee shed light on mental and verbal abuse which was something i don’t see often in most romance books and i think she gave a voice to those who have went through similar situations. I can’t believe this is her first novel! I can’t wait to read her future books and i hope Dash’s friends John & Paul get their own ones!! Also, i’m a fan of Blue October now after reading this book. 😀

One of my favorite quotes from the story is from Blake’s Mom “True love is friendship set on fire.”

Blake Caster was a character that deserved a better life than the one that she was living. I loved how she wanted to be a meteorologist and track storms. I hated the way Justin treated her and it made me more than furious it out right ticked me off. I just wanted to reach into the book and shake some sense into her as well as get her away from that jerk. I was so stinking happy that she got the courage she needed to get out of that situation in her life and find herself without interference. Her dog Hail was a hoot!

Dash Lexington was a character that i loved from the very beginning. He was so sweet and respectful to others. He’s such an incredible guy and he gave a crap about others feelings. He was a storm chaser and the thrill that he had while doing it left me smiling. Dash was a good human being with a heart that had a lot to give. He cracked me up and it was nice to see how he brought Blake out of her shell.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a story that’s about how incredible weather is ,how it only takes one person to wake you up and make you realize you deserve nothing but the best in this life. This is a story of a girl breaking free of the chains of her toxic relationship and making her life her own. One-click this outstanding novel today! You won’t regret it! 5 stars all around! 🙂
